The most important event in human history was about to take place.

Jesus, as the spotless Lamb of God, would give his life in order to

save his people from the penalty of death brought by sin. Even though

he would face extreme anguish and agony, he would not give up or give

in. He went ahead with the mission for which he had come. The way to 

the kingdom is the way of the cross.
